Michael Benhamou is the Executive Director of OPEWI – Europe’s War Institute – whose goals are to bring tactical and technical insights to policy makers as well as spark a mental change on defence within the European public. He also serves as a reserve officer in the French Army – i.e. as a political advisor at the Joint Forces Command. He was formerly deployed in NATO and EU operations & exercices on land, at sea, within air headquarters (Kosovo, Afghanistan, GCC, Libya, aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle).
